Oakland Should Go After An NBA Team After The Warriors There is no reason Oakland can’t have its own NBA Team after the Warriors leave. No, not a team it owns, but a team with the name “ Oakland” in it. Oakland’s capable of doing it, but has to lose the looser mentality reflected by these officers, one of them an Oakland Police Officer. The kind of can’t do mentality he expressed is akin to what I had to deal with in trying to bring the Super Bowl to Oakland in 1999-2001. We lost to Jacksonville for the 2005 Game. Stay tuned.

Cal Women's Rowing Team member Jill Costello passed away from complications due to lung cancer on June 24th 2010 and at the age of 21. A San Francisco event and run called Jog For Jill has been established and will be held this Sunday, September 12th at 5 PM. Two members of the Cal Women's Crew team were at the Cal vs. Davis football game wearing Jog For Jill shirts, and were kind enough to provide the video interview above.
