Downtown Oakland Hampton Inn Grand Opening Features Flying Dancers - Video

Downtown Oakland Hampton Inn Grand Opening Features Flying Dancers The new Downtown Oakland Hampton Inn held its grand opening this morning. Oakland District Six Councilmember Loren Taylor was in attendance and captured this Facebook video of flying dancers act on high wires on the walls of the hotel. The Downtown Oakland Hampton Inn is the first new hotel in Oakland in 18 years. It’s at 378 11th Street (not 13th Street), and just a block from BART Oakland City Center 12th Street Station. That means one can take BART from SFO Airport and get off at The Oakland BART Station, and walk one block to The Hampton Inn. Come to think of it, the hotel should have a reserved greeter service for anyone who takes BART from SFO Airport. Stay tuned.
