Gwyneth Paltrow's Legs Star In Vanity Fair Tech Photo

Gwyneth Paltrow's Legs Star In Vanity Fair Tech Photo. Gwyneth Paltrow, star of Iron Man, and Goop, or more accurately Gwyneth Paltrow's legs, are the real stars of this Vanity Fair tech photo that was taken at the Code Conference. The Code Conference is Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher's latest incarnation of the tech conference. And, like other tech events of the recent past, the photo implies that it turns a blind eye to the existence of anyone black in tech. The photo has whites, Asians, entertainers who aren't tech like Ryan Seacrest (He can't code! WTF?) and Gwyneth Paltrow's Legs. No one black. Not one person. You'd think Vanity Fair and Walt and Kara would have asked Jimmy Iovine to bring Dr. Dre, right? All of this, when there are blacks, many African Americans, in tech. Horrible. Maybe we should call Vanity Fair "white media" because this would seem to imply just that. A video-blog post for Oakland Focus IFTTT

Kara Swisher, Where Are Blacks In Vanity Fair Tech Photo?

Hey Kara Swisher. Where are the black folks in this tech community photo that appeared in Vanity Fair? It's mostly white, some Asian, and totally dominated by Gweneth Paltrow's legs! Why don't I see folks like John Thompson of Virtual Instruments? What about David Drummond, who's Google's chief lawyer? I could go on and on. But Gwetheth's legs. Wow.
