Arif Khatib Oakland Sports Legend At Lakeshores Cafe. This is how my life works: the last time I saw Arif, it was the Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party in Atlanta, earlier this year. And that was unplanned, too! This time, Arif was sitting across from me and with Chris Weills of the Bay Area Ultimate Sports Book. Chris produced the first version of my Super Bowl: Oakland Bid Book In 1999! Mr. Khatib is a long time Oakland Sports Legend who knew Oakland Raiders Owner Mark Davis when Al’s son was 14 years old. He’s the founder of the African American Sports Hall Of Fame. Stay tuned.
