Laney College Oakland Mayor's Race Debate April 30th Has Issues

The Laney College Oakland Mayor's Race Debate that's currently set for April 30th, has some issues. Sources tell this blogger that the effort was originally to be ran by Laney College students, but there's tension between those persons and Elñora Tena Webb, the school's president.

That's all I know now, other than that an Oakland Mayor's Race new-comer and unknown Charles Williams has said he will attend the debate. Joining him, so far, are Libby Schaaf, Bryan Parker and Courtney Ruby.

If the Laney College Oakland Mayor's Race Debate can't get it's act together, the date should be pushed back.

Elñora Tena Webb Needs Support From Abel Guillen

It's also reported that Elñora Tena Webb is the focus of an effort to oust her, and that some Peralta College Board Members (like  Abel Guillen according to my source) are turning their backs on retaining her.

Abel?  My friends are calling you out, my friend....

Still getting more info on this. I wonder if her pursue of a new job last May was a sign that a problem's upon us? See:
Stay tuned.
