The 25-year-old woman and her 30-year-old boyfriend, both Oakland residents, were riding in a white 1991 Ford Mustang down 73rd Avenue about 9:30 p.m. when they encountered the woman's ex-boyfriend, a 32-year-old San Francisco man who was driving a silver 1997 four-door Cadillac Seville, police said. The boyfriend, who was driving the Mustang, fired a gun at the ex-boyfriend, though he didn't appear to hit anyone, police said.
