I call Chris an Oakland Influencer because he took time to apply great thought to politics and policy and the actions of political people. His basic approach was quite infectious, and so he was an influencer. Chris and I have a friendship that spans 35 years, and covers many events in Oakland's government, economic, and political history. All of them we talked about.
