Mike Nichols Of The Graduate Dead At 83

Mike Nichols, best known for The Graduate, is dead at 83 years of age. Nichols, who made incredible films like Closer and Charlie Wilson's War, once said that his movies were about relationships between men and women, surrounded by a bed. Nichols married four times, last to ABC's Diane Sawyer. He passed of a heart attack November 19th at his home in Manhattan. via IFTTT

Florida State Shooting Gunman Dead Florida State Shooting Gunman Dead Last night, a gunman opened fire in the Florida State University Library and shot three people. The action left the school on lockdown and put one person of the three in critical condition. On top of that, ESPNU's Marisa Martin left a very incensitive Twitter tweet saying that the gunman was probably going to get Florida State Quarterback Jameis Winston. On November 28, for the sixth consecutive year, the Lake Merritt/Uptown & Downtown Oakland Community Benefit Districts will join the City of Oakland and many other local organizations to encourage residents, commuters and visitors to support local small businesses by shopping in Oakland on Plaid Friday.
