Fruitvale, a movie by San Francisco Bay Area local Ryan Coolger and about the last days of Oscar Grant before he was murdered at the Fruitvale BART Station by BART Police, took both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award - the first time such a film has achieved that distinction at Sundance since Precious.
Congratulations to Mr. Coogler and to his producers and the cast.
