NFL Commissioner Goodell Says Oakland Must Find Long Term Stadium Solution - Video

NFL Commissioner Goodell Says Oakland Must Find Long Term Stadium Solution (NFL Draft coverage sponsored by Zeal Wine Imports at http://ift.tt/1EgcZ4u ) At the NFL Draft Town, and just before he entered the Sweetness Simulation (named for Walter Payton), NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell took time to address the matter of Oakland and the Oakland Raiders need for a new stadium. This has caused the Raiders to seek a possible new stadium in Carson, California, and to the anger of many Raiders fans - save for those few in Southern California. On Oakland, Commissioner Goodell said "We've been very clear. They're not new issues in Oakland. Theyr'e not new issues in our other cities. Long Term Stadium solutions. We have to find those. Otherwise teams can't continue to compete, or be successful in those markets. So that's the real key issue." By saying ""We've been very clear," Commissioner Goodell was referring to NFL EVP for Business Ventures Eric Grubman's comments that Oakland is behind schedule in coming up with such a solution.
