Docstoc, Scribd Competitor, Closing December 2015 #tech
It was 2007 when TechCrunch Blogger Michael Arrington announced Docstoc as the competitor for online document storage company Scribd by Trip Alder. Fast forward to this week and Docstoc has informed visitors to its website that it's closing down. Seems it's owner intuit is not into it any more. Jason Nazar sold it to them in late 2013 but maintained his role. He had raised $4 million prior to the buyout. What he got was not disclosed.
