Vinod Khosla Insults Stanford Coach David Shaw On Twitter
Vinod Khosla, who is a venture capitalist, feels he has the intellectual chops to question the intellect of Stanford Head Coach David Shaw and after the big win against Notre Dame. Khosla gets on Twitter and says that Stanford should look for a smarter coach because too many mathematically bad play calls were made. That was just plain ridiculous. Vinod has to understand that there is more than one way to mathematically evaluate a football team's performance. You can look at plays versus defenses on down and distance. You can consider probability with respect to a specific team. You can look at choice theory with respect to a situation. If Vinod knew football, he would not have made that tweet. Not smart.
