Laurent Malaquais Is Joe In The Movie " I Am Joe" and here's my interview. "I Am Joe" is an interesting movie that was co-produced by and stars my friend Berkeley-based producer / actor Laurent Malaquais. It has an unusual storyline: "A neo-noir revenge feature film about a man stuck between two separate lives in Los Angeles and NYC. Joe a quaint NYU physics professor one day is drugged by Nacho, the shaman of jewish mysticism criminal group, and so Jack-- Joe's violent alternative personality--starts to emerge. Thus he travels to LA and with the help of his ex-lover Blondie, Joe searches for Nacho before it's too late and Jack takes over."
