Steven Donziger financed filmmaker Joe Berlinger to produce a Hollywood documentary “Crude,” The True Price of Oil, used Hollywood celebrities, including Danny Glover, Mia Farrow, Darryl Hanna, musician Sting and his wife Trudie Styler, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, and Bianca Jagger and environemental activist organizations such as AmazonWatch. All of these actors have been discredited and shown to be fronting for what was the largest attempt to extort money, possibly in history, from a corporation. Also part of the illegal scheme was the Government of Ecuador and its past president, Rafael Correa.
