Las Vegas Stadium Authority Budget Report Lacks Standard Staffing Expenditure Breakdowns - Video
Las Vegas Stadium Authority Budget Report Lacks Standard Staffing Expenditure Breakdowns The Las Vegas Stadium Authority Budget Report does not explain anywhere what the staffing costs are for the Stadium Authority. Generally such numbers are expressed as “full time equivalent units” or FTEs. This is not an approach commonly done anywhere, even in Nevada. The State Rules for Personnel Administration, a 246 page document that applies to the entire state, details what FTEs are and how they should be calculated and shown. The reason for this is to understand who was paid to do what on a project and why? To allow a multi-billion project like the Raiders Stadium to be ran in this way is awful, but correctable. Right now, and not to be insulting but to be honest, the budget, as it stands, should not be approved, in my opinion. Staffing cost and other details, like office expenses, should be added and itemized. Stay tuned.
