Killer Cold Weather arrives EARLY in Oakland by Derrick Soo - Video
Winter is the DEADLY time of year for Unhoused folks. Many are not prepared for the SUDDEN temps below 40 degrees, and I’ve experienced people that have DIED resulting from “Issues” with cold weather. Oakland’s Mayor’s Office tells the “Unhoused”, put on extra clothing. New Encampment Management Policy, ORDERS no Propane, Generators, piles of wood or HEAT of ANY source within the “Sanctuary” Encampments. Mayor’s Office has BLOCKED my attempts to bring PG&E LEGALLY into my Tent Community.
