Musical Anatomy of A Superhero Panel At San Diego Comic Con 2023 Indigo Ballroom - Hilton San Diego Bayfront You are invited to attend: Comic-Con’s 9th Musical Anatomy of a Superhero Panel and Press Conference – Thursday, July 20th Featuring: Laura Karpman (The Marvels, Ms. Marvel, What If…?), Christophe Beck (Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania), Benjamin Wallfisch (The Flash, Shazam!), David Russo (Gotham Knights, Gotham), Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Rogers: The Musical) And special guest moderator: Michael Giacchino (Werewolf by Night, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home) About the Panel: Music has always been an important supporting character in movies; this goes to another level in the superhero film genre where the music sets a tone that helps define a character, an impending battle, or a triumphant moment. This year’s panel continues the tradition of showcasing unreleased music and videoclips from upcoming and recently released projects. Leading Hollywood composers will explain the process and challenges of creating music behind the superhero genre, along with collaborating with the director, producers, and the franchise. The event is produced by Costa Communications and sponsored by ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. Cal Women's Rowing Team member Jill Costello passed away from complications due to lung cancer on June 24th 2010 and at the age of 21. A San Francisco event and run called Jog For Jill has been established and will be held this Sunday, September 12th at 5 PM.
