Zennie Abraham Chairman Of International Trade Council's Digital Commerce Business Council
Zennie Abraham Chairman Of International Trade Council's Digital Commerce Business Council This livestream is to announce that I, Zennie Abraham, am the Chairman of The International Trade Council's Digital Commerce Business Council. We just had our first meeting, where I was installed in that role. Let me take time to explain what the International Trade Council is, and what the Digital Commerce Business Council does. First, The International Trade Council has members from 179 countries and " a peak-body chamber of commerce dedicated to promoting international trade, minimizing barriers, and fostering global commerce through education, networking, and insightful business intelligence. We are firm believers in the power of free global trade and equitable competition to drive economic growth, generate employment opportunities, and elevate living standards worldwide. For many years, the International Trade Council has championed open markets, fair international competition, and trade liberalization, guided by transparent, predictable, and multilaterally coordinated regulations. Our mission is to help members navigate the intricate world of international trade by simplifying processes and providing essential resources. With locally organized chapters operating in 28 countries and a diverse membership spanning 179 nations, we are a truly global organization. Within that, the new Digital Commerce Business Council is one of a set of Business Councils in ITC. Overall, they are a new initiative that gives members the chance to interact with government and industry leaders worldwide (and help direct the future of the ITC), as well as ... Engage in influential industry events. Contribute to groundbreaking research reports. Have the opportunity to contribute to the Council's publications, webinars, and events. Enhance their professional reputation and legacy (and receive free lifetime membership with the ITC) Beyond that, the organizational design of the Business Council is open ended, but given that our group is called the Digital Commerce Business Council , that implies the use of something I am employing now: digital electronics and media. My role as Chairman is to reflect the interests of the members of the Digital Commerce Business Council, within and with the approval of the International Trade Council. I am very excited to hold this role, and to involve the web resources of Zennie62Media, Inc.. For our firm, Zennie62Media, Inc, we have a kind of "window to the World" so that we can take the temperature of global business and goverment, and have that come into our news coverage in a way that promotes the ITC and informs viewers and readers. Again, I serve at the pleasure of the membership, and am honored to hold this role. Stay tuned to Zennie62.com for future news related to the International Trade Council.

Oakland Mayor's Race: LWV Forum Draws Oakland's Older Folks

Oakland Mayor's Race Forum first take. (Which means, there's going to be more of these posts on last night, because a lot was happening.) This just in: The Oakland Tribune's out of touch with Oakland. A number of attendees of the 450 estimated said they learned of the Oakland League Of Women Voters via "the newspaper." All of the people who made that statement were over 50 years old. Still, the forum, which attracted every candidate except Dr. Terrance Candell, was a success. The auditorium at 300 Lakeside Drive seats 380 people, so if you do the math, it was about 70 over capacity. The crowd was a happy mix of supporters of candidates and long-time observers of the Oakland political scene. The one complaint they had was there wasn't enough time to hear what the candidates were about. That wasn't because there were too many candidates, but due to the format. Either Oakland Tribune Editor Martin Reynolds or the League of Women Voter
