FBI Raid On Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao: LeAna Powell On Tension Between Renia Webb & Brandon Harami LeAna Powell was a staff member in the Office of Oakland District 4 Councilmember Sheng Thao. Sheng Thao and her aides Chief of Staff Renia Webb, and aide Brandon Harami worked to intimidate and harass Powell into working on Sheng's run for Mayor of Oakland. Now, Powell has a near-two-years old active Public Ethics Commission Investigation that one source told me led the PEC to inform the FBI, which allegedly triggered the June 21, 2024 raid on Mayor Thao' home. Here, Powell talks about how she came to work for Sheng, and the tension between Webb and Harami , because Brandon was seasoned and Webb was new to the role. Cal Women's Rowing Team member Jill Costello passed away from complications due to lung cancer on June 24th 2010 and at the age of 21. A San Francisco event and run called Jog For Jill has been established and will be held this Sunday, September 12th at 5 PM.
