Elon Musk Should Apologize For President Obama Deepfake Video From 2008 Hillary Clinton Debate
Elon Musk thinks this is funny, but itās not. Two days ago, Mr. Musk issued a tweet that claimed to present a video from the 2008 debate between then Senators and democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in South Carolina, ahead of the South Carolina Primary. Itās got the words āThe left doesnāt want you to see thisā. In the video, Barack Obama is shown saying āThis administration, the Bush administration has done nothing to control the problem that we have. We had five million undocumented workers come over the borders since George Bush took office. It has become an extraordinary problem. And the reason the American people are concerned is because they are seeing their own economic positions slip away. And oftentimes, employers are exploiting these undocumented workers. Theyāre not paying the minimum wage. Theyāre not observing worker safety laws. And so what we have to do is create a comprehensive solution to the problem. I have already stated that as President I will make sure that we finally have the kind of border security that we need. Thatās step number one. Step number two is to take on employers right now. An employer has more of a chance of getting hit by lightning than be prosecuted for hiring an undocumented worker. That has to change.ā The trouble with that video is Barack Obama never said those words during that debate as that it was presented. In other words, that entire video presents a cartoon fantasy made to look real to fool audiences for political purposes. As the livestream will show, a check of the words against an actual transcript of the debate shows that thereās not even a record of Obama saying word sequences like āfive million undocumented workersā in the entire debate. And where āfive millionā is used in the debate, itās not by the man now called Former President Obama, itās by then Senator John Edwards: And the chasm between the rich and the poor in America is wide. It is getting worse. The rich are get richer. And we've added five million people to the poverty rolls in just over the course of the last seven years, which is... BLITZER: But what about the stimulus package? And the list of words used in Elon Muskās deepfake video issued two days ago that does not appear in the actual transcript goes on and on. From that, itās fake. But thatās not the only reason. Take a look at Obamaās mouth as heās talking in the video. If you look carefully, Obamaās lips are just a bit larger than his mouth. It looks like the moving mouth itself was pasted into the video in certain frames. Clearly an attempt to fake what Obama said. Elon Musk Should Remove The Video And Apologize To Former President Obama. As of this writing the video or parts of it has been seen over 40 million times on Twitter, AKA āXā. and it has generated over 9,000 comments, seemingly all of them believe the video. Then thereās an entry by Grok, which is Elon Muskās A.I., claiming that the video was real. So, I went to Grok myself and presented the fact that I have the transcript. This is what I got back from Grok, Elon Muskās AI: Elon Musk is a government contractor who apparently made this video to use a former President Of The United States against his will. Itās a clear certainty Obama did not know about this at all. Moreover, there's nothing in Musk's contract with the Federal Government that allows this kind of action of defamation. The commenters in the video write as if Obama really said those words. President Obama did not say them. The other question is does Donald Trump know about this? What does he say?
