Time For Star Trek To Be On Network TV Again - Here's Why

Time For Star Trek To Be On Network TV Again - Here's Why I've grown up with Star Trek, and from the 1966-1968 television show, to working Star Trek Conventions in Oakland, to starting the Bret Harte Junior High School Star Trek Club with my now long-time friends, to the movies and The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine and Voyager, and Enterprise, and Picard, and Discovery. But of late, Star Trek has been missing from the network television landscape, as show after show, has appeared on apps. While that's the way of content, why not have a Star Trek network television program that's also on apps, rather than app only? It's time for Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock to finish its five year mission, and go beyond. Why not return Star Trek to network television? Let's talk about it. Let's make it happen.

Cal Women's Rowing Team member Jill Costello passed away from complications due to lung cancer on June 24th 2010 and at the age of 21. A San Francisco event and run called Jog For Jill has been established and will be held this Sunday, September 12th at 5 PM. Two members of the Cal Women's Crew team were at the Cal vs. Davis football game wearing Jog For Jill shirts, and were kind enough to provide the video interview above.
